Responsibilities
Install,terminate, and test Cat6 and fiber optic cabling.
Performinfrastructure cabling for access control systems, IT racks, and cameras.
Installand program IP security cameras, access points, and IP phones.
Mount,dress, and maintain network racks and patch panels.
Troubleshoot,diagnose, and repair low voltage systems as required.
Followwiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions.
Providedocumentation of completed work and project updates.
Requirements
Qualifications Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Structured Cabling Installer, or equivalent role.
Knowledge of low voltage systems (98V and under).
Skilled in Cat6 cabling, fiber optics, access control, and security camera systems.
Familiarity with network racks, AP installation, and VoIP/IP phone systems.
Must have personal tools and reliable transportation.
OSHA certification preferred, but not required.
Terms of Work 1099 Contractor Position (not W-2 employment).
Compensation: $18/hr entry level; up to $28/hr with 5+ years verifiable experience.
Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits.
Assignments available across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
