Active TS/SCI Position Summary The BIM Mechanical Drafting Specialist provides advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) and mechanical drafting support for USSTRATCOM facilities. This role is responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining BIM models-particularly those related to mechanical systems-conducting on-site verifications, and ensuring the accuracy of as-built documentation to support facility operations and planning. Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain BIM models using Autodesk AEC tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and Trimble SketchUp. Conduct site visits to verify the installation of mechanical systems and document as-built conditions. Provide BIM support for facility maintenance, sustainment, and renovation planning. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and facility operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and deliverables in accordance with CDRL requirements. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BIM modeler, with a focus on mechanical systems. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Trimble SketchUp. Ability to conduct research and integrate findings into BIM updates. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively in a classified work environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting DoD facility projects or working with military mechanical system standards. Familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
