to join our team! What you’ll be doing
Collecting, analyzing, maintaining, accurately preparing and processing loan documentation according to specific guidelines. Responsible for prompt, courteous internal and external customer service in a professional manner. Maintaining and /or updating loan information system and paperless document storage as required during loan processing with minimal mistakes and submitting quality loan packages to underwriting in a timely manner. Prioritizing and addressing customer needs and demands in a professional manner, providing follow-up and developing cooperative relationships. Participating and contributing to a positive work environment which encourages team commitment to corporate and department goals. Other duties as assigned. What you’ll bring
Minimum 2 years of Mortgage Loan Processing experience Minimum 2 years of FHA/VA/USDA experience Maintain a pipeline 80-100 total loans, of which 25-35 are in an active status Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA and state bond agency loan guidelines and/or eligibility requirements Advanced experience working with automated underwriting systems (DU/LP/GUS) Knowledge of State/Federal regulations to maintain loan file compliance Analyze credit, income, asset and collateral documents and submit files to underwriting Attention to detail and very task oriented Effective oral and written communication with teammates, supervisor, mortgage bankers and customers Superior internal and external customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills Atlantic Bay offers a dynamic benefits package that includes a competitive base salary, eligibility for monthly bonuses, health insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid volunteer time and your birthday off with pay!
