As an
Account Manager , you will be focused on managing and developing an assigned portfolio of accounts to achieve defined revenue and client retention targets. This critical and high visibility role will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within their client base while working with Medicus’ Sales, Recruiting, and Business Support teams to manage and ensure timely delivery of services.
This position is located on‑site at our office in Windham, New Hampshire. After 6 months of employment, there is an opportunity to work from home 1‑2x a week.
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement strategic plans designed to grow (increase market share within) assigned accounts; leveraging internal resources as needed and appropriate
Continuously consult with clients to understand current and anticipate challenges and identify opportunity for new or accretive business
Communicate and coordinate with internal physician recruitment teams to ensure client needs are met
Proactively identify risks within projects and identify solutions to resolve the issues; escalating to internal leadership as appropriate.
Act as liaison between internal business partners such as contracts, licensing, credentialing, travel, and finance to ensure timely execution of project staffing needs
Conduct regularly scheduled calls with client accounts and provide status or performance updates as requested
Ensure client retention through delivery of a superior customer experience and accountability to defined service level agreements
Develop and maintain in depth knowledge and understanding of our business and service offerings, as well as our competitors and industry
Produce accurate and timely forecasts respective to key performance indicators
Identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency; propose new tools and processes
Attend and participate in national and regional sales meetings, conferences, and events

Experience selling into and/or managing large account portfolios.
Articulate communicator, in person and over the phone, with a demonstrated ability to establish and strengthen interpersonal relationships.
Highly organized with the ability manage multiple priorities and deliverables effectively
Solution‑oriented with ability to identify and mitigate risk factors; out‑of‑the‑box thinker
Self‑motivated and able to deliver results in an ever‑changing, fast paced environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of sales and/or account management experience
Ability to travel; approximately 10%
