Job Description

At Playbook Experience, we’re looking for a hungry and passionate person to join our Corporate Events team as our Sales & Account Assistant. This position will give the right candidate exposure to all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting through closing a deal. They will also gain experience in account management and up-selling. Ideal candidates will have some experience in sales and account management, but be open to feedback and developing new skills. We have a unique opportunity to enter the corporate events industry and this person will be pivotal in the success of our first year as a new brand within the Playbook Experiences family of brands.

Sales

Create prospecting lists

Make cold calls to potential clients

Answer client inquiries and follow up after sorting out issues

Assist in development of outbound sales strategy

Work with marketing team to create email cadences

Participate in regular team meetings to discuss accounts and overall business opportunities

Account Management

Maintain contact with client from initial call through closing of the deal

Schedule all planning calls and capture details to share with client and vendors

Up-sell throughout planning process

Own creation of event materials and effectively manage client expectations

Attend events with goals of ensuring event goes smoothly and building relationships with clients

Qualifications

0-2+ years of experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required

Strong listening, written and oral communication skills

Self-motivated and organized

Ability to thrive in fast paced and high intensity environment

Knowledge of Hubspot a plus
