Advertising Inventory Coordinator
Lamar Advertising Company in Orland Park, Illinois is hiring a Charting Specialist responsible for tracking billboard inventory and supporting sales and operations for outdoor advertising campaigns across the Chicago area.
Job Overview
This role primarily involves charting and managing billboard inventory, ensuring accuracy of posting information, and coordinating with multiple teams to deliver campaigns on schedule.
Responsibilities
Act as liaison between Sales and Operations departments to chart, track, and schedule placements.
Maintain up‑to‑date posting information for each client, including supplied artwork, routes, and work orders.
Create and approve Proof Of Performance (POP) photos and maintain the POP photo system.
Order and track posting supplies, prep vinyl for installation, and manage inventory lists.
Conduct daily checks of billboard conditions (flags, lighting, postings) and report service issues.
Collaborate with Real Estate Manager on revenue true‑ups, vegetation & graffiti control, lease file management, and related clerical tasks.
Coordinate digital charting activities: liaise with clients, network operating centers, upload and schedule digital creatives, and provide software support.
Answer phones, type correspondence, input data, submit orders, and support social media content.
Maintain OSHA logs, expense reports, petty cash records, and other operational support duties.
Qualifications
Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Proactive work ethic, professionalism, and independence while working collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience using fax machine, copier, scanner, and binding machine.
Minimum of 2 years of office experience or equivalent education.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Driver’s license preferred.

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm work schedule.
Hourly rate $21.00 – $23.75, dependent on experience.
