Base Pay Range

$54.00/hr – $60.00/hr

Overview

As part of the Experience Design team, Content Design is responsible for creating data-informed content for the brands’ digital experiences. Content designers partner with UX designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, and others to create user‑centered experiences for people and businesses around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and write UX content for web experiences.
  • Use data‑driven insights about experience gaps and customer pain points to brainstorm and build proposed experience solutions.
  • Drive the definition of a clear and actionable strategic direction for content in this problem/solution space.
  • Coordinate and advise content designers on other teams to share context and clarity you’ve gleaned from customer research.
  • Use data and research to evaluate your content’s impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows tangible results.
  • Present your design solutions and rationale to leadership (director‑level+).
  • Collaborate with Design on page layout, interactions, and visual tone.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a content designer, UX writer, or content strategist.
  • Excellent writing and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and tone guidelines.
  • At ease managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually, and collaborating across teams.
  • Experience in financial services, payments, crypto currency, B2B or B2C e‑commerce is preferred.

Top 3 Must Haves

  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and user‑focused content.
  • Experience developing and managing website content, with strong knowledge of web content best practices, usability, and accessibility standards.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including collaboration with design and product teams to align content with visual and interaction design.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated initiative and proactivity in learning about products and understanding business context, strong sense of ownership and accountability for content quality and web property performance, experience with SEO best practices and optimizing content for search visibility.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience based; nice to have in English, journalism or marketing.
