As VP, Creative Services at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, you will lead the strategic vision and execution of our creative function, shaping immersive campaigns that elevate our brand in the competitive betting & gaming landscape while creating an operating rhythm for the creative team that enables scale and efficiency. This executive role serves as the business function of the creative team, partnering with and reporting to the Head of Creative Marketing and acting as deputy leader of the Creative Marketing organization. It demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in creative strategy, team building, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive innovation, efficiency, and measurable impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Department Vision
- Shape and execute the long‑term vision for the creative department, aligning goals with business objectives and industry trends in betting and gaming.
- Oversee brand creative, operations, and production roles, fostering a high‑performance culture that balances innovation with operational excellence.
- Improve cross‑channel communication and ensure seamless integration of creative assets across digital, social, broadcast, and experiential platforms for cohesive brand narratives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Execution
- Communicate and present to executive stakeholders, translating creative strategies into compelling business cases that secure buy‑in and resources.
- Champion the development and launch of high‑impact campaigns, from concept ideation to performance optimization, leveraging data analytics to refine output.
Operational Excellence & Resource Management
- Track, allocate, and forecast budgets, optimizing spend to maximize ROI on creative initiatives while navigating fiscal constraints.
- Identify and implement staffing efficiencies, workflow, and process improvements to streamline production pipelines and enhance team productivity.
- Coordinate internal and external vendor resources, ensuring efficient scalability while maintaining creative excellence.
Team Development & Innovation
- Mentor and develop a diverse team of creatives, including Creative Operations, Brand/Account Management, and Creative Production.
- Promote continuous learning, diversity of thought, and agile methodologies to stay ahead of market disruptions.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and partnerships teams to integrate creative marketing into core betting and gaming experiences, driving user acquisition and retention.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive creative marketing leadership, with at least 7 years in a director‑level or above role within sports, entertainment, gaming, or consumer tech industries.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high‑performing creative teams, managing multimillion‑dollar budgets, and delivering ROI‑positive campaigns.
- Strategic acumen in brand storytelling, cross‑channel campaign execution, and performance marketing, with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
- Strong presentation and influence skills, with experience engaging C‑suite executives and external partners.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in betting and gaming, paired with a passion for sports and fan engagement.
- Exceptional problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset for optimizing workflows, staffing, and processes in fast‑paced environments.
- Collaborative leader who thrives in ambiguous settings, fostering inclusive cultures and cross‑functional partnerships.
- Open to regular travel to events, fanatics offices, and offsite team meetings.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $214,000 – $286,000 (subject to change with geographic compensation zone). Eligible for the Fanatics Betting & Gaming annual bonus program.
Full‑time employees receive medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and additional benefits such as Wellhub, pet insurance, family care benefits, and more. The company also offers a $700 allowance for home‑office setup.
