West Workshop – Project Designer (Architectural Designer) West Workshop is a small architecture and design studio specializing in the hospitality, custom residential, and adaptive reuse sectors with offices in Washington, DC, Raleigh, and Ft. Wayne, IN. This position is for a local or remote employee, ideally based in NC. Job Details Location: Raleigh, NC, US (remote possible) Employment Type: Full-time Posted: Wed, Dec 3 '25 Responsibilities Collaborate directly with the firm’s owner and with clients on a variety of project types. Work independently on multiple projects, from concept through completion. Produce and maintain construction documents in Revit. Visit job sites during construction, respond to RFIs, and manage project progress. Research materials, products, and building systems throughout design and construction phases. Coordinate with collaborators, clients, building officials, and consultants on a weekly basis. Prioritize and manage tasks independently. Qualifications & Desired Skills 5-7 years of professional experience in architectural design. Proven experience in Commercial Construction; Residential experience a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or higher; working toward licensure. Fluent in English. Experience producing construction documents in Revit from concept to completion. Basic construction knowledge; will receive additional training. Working knowledge of SketchUp and/or Rhino. Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and open to expanding skillset. Authorization to work in the United States. Strong communication, coordination, and client-facing skills. Flexibility to maintain a flexible work schedule and work-from-home opportunities.
