Who is FLAC?

The Family-Led Autism Collective (FLAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring families have access to high-quality, evidence-based tools, education, and support. We build digital products that help families navigate autism services more easily and with greater confidence.

What you’ll own

  • Own the end-to-end creative workflow for short-form product launch videos, from concept to final delivery.
  • Translate high-level ideas into emotionally compelling 20–30 second launch videos that communicate why our products matter to families.
  • Develop storyboards, visual concepts, and creative direction independently, incorporating feedback at key review points.
  • Edit and produce polished videos using stock footage, motion graphics, animation, text overlays, and music, aligned with FLAC’s brand.
  • Deliver final assets optimized for web, product pages, and marketing channels.

The skills you bring

  • Advanced experience with professional video editing tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent).
  • Strong background in motion design, animation, and visual storytelling.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality launch or brand videos (consumer-tech, product, or nonprofit experience preferred).
  • Excellent creative judgment and the ability to work from loosely defined briefs.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort owning creative decisions end-to-end.

What success looks like

  • A high-quality 30-second emotional launch video for FLAC’s ABA Finder tool that feels comparable to modern consumer-tech product launches.
  • Clear, compelling storytelling that resonates emotionally with families and caregivers.
  • On-time delivery of concept, storyboard, draft, and final cut with minimal revisions.
  • Stakeholder approval that the video is “launch-ready” and representative of FLAC’s mission and quality bar.
