Distribution Planner Join to apply for the Distribution Planner role at Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages . We're seeking to fill this role in Texas or Oklahoma. Work days/Shift Hours: Sunday - Thursday 11am-7:30pm. Responsibilities Responsible for daily tactical operations within Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Planning across multiple functions: Distribution Planning, Merchandising Planning, and Sales & Logistics Planning. Execute strategic operational plans that support the Go To Market Strategy for each function and local Bottler. Ensure routes are accurate, timely, and meet optimal cost parameters. Collaborate cross-functionally with DSD Planning teams. Perform audits and strategic analysis of data integrity, planning session quality, and process compliance. Serve as SME on end-to-end Distribution Planning systems and standardized planning processes. Lead, implement, and execute projects that transform and continuously improve the Distribution Planning function. Provide coverage for the Distribution Planning Center as needed and effective training for team members. Develop and execute action plans supporting strategic partnership with Field Operations teams. Support Supervisor to build core capabilities of team members. Participate in development, implementation, validation, and adherence to standard processes. Execute core capabilities of merchandising planning and deliver high performing results. Support standardized processes for Merchandising Planning; collaborate weekly with business partners to enable profitable growth. Lead execution of planning processes and educate the field. Build schedules aligning operational needs with strategic goals, delivering positive business results. Ensure data accuracy through governance standards; develop and maintain MDM tactical plans. Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to achieve company goals. Build collaborative relationships with business partners and utilize technology fully. Engage in activities that promote personal development and enhance capabilities. Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of purchasing or planning responsibilities. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint) at advanced level. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in client-service environment preferred; understanding of operational excellence principles, tools, and methodologies preferred. APICS certification preferred.
