POSITION SUMMARY The Public Relations Coordinator reports directly to the Vice President and plays a key role in developing and executing communication strategies that enhance the organization’s public image. This role supports media relations, event coordination, social media efforts, and lead capture. Your responsibilities will include distributing media materials, supporting client engagements, coordinating public events, monitoring PR performance, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Media Relations & Communications Distribute press releases, media advisories, and PR materials Coordinate outreach to journalists, influencers, and media partners Maintain and update media contacts and PR databases Handle incoming inquiries from media and the public professionally Event Support & Client Coordination Assist in organizing public events, press conferences, and community initiatives Support client engagements and help capture sales leads Social Media & Messaging Create and schedule social media content aligned with brand messaging Collaborate with internal teams to ensure unified communication across all channels Monitoring & Reporting Track media coverage and prepare PR campaign performance reports Support use of analytics tools and media monitoring platforms REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field 1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or a similar role Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in social media platforms and basic analytics tools Familiarity with PR software or media monitoring tools is a plus PREFERRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Strong organization and time management Attention to detail and creative thinking Relationship-building skills Adaptability and strong problem-solving abilities COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary Range: $45,000–$55,000 annually Benefits Include: PTO and paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short-term disability insurance SCHEDULE Full time NOTE TO APPLICANT If you include a short introductory video with your resume, your application will be prioritized. #J-18808-Ljbffr
