Staff Reporter – Central Banking – Infopro Digital Infopro Digital’s Central Banking is seeking a staff reporter to work from its New York or Nashville bureaus covering central banks, economic policy, and fintech developments across the Americas. This position is suitable for a journalist looking to cover an exciting new beat or a graduate seeking a challenge. The successful candidate will not necessarily have prior journalistic experience but must have intelligence, enthusiasm, energy, and strong writing ability. A demonstrated interest in finance, economic policy, and/or digital transformation; a willingness to learn; and the ability to master complex topics are required. The role involves the following key tasks and responsibilities: Writing news, analysis pieces, and features Conducting research and cultivating contacts to uncover significant stories Regularly interviewing senior officials from the central banking community Collaborating with editors to maintain high research and reporting standards Maintaining journalistic ethics and accuracy Contributing to the Central Banking Benchmarking Service and Awards Traveling to conferences and interviewing across the Americas region Requirements: Ability to write accurately, clearly, and interestingly Capacity to rapidly learn about complex subjects Willingness to research subjects in depth Interest in central banks, finance, economics, and future technology Networking skills and ability to build a contact book Team player Benefits: Competitive salary, 20 days holiday per annum, 5 sick days per annum, Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits, 401(k) plan plus match, Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Qualified Parking and Transit Program, Flexible Spending Accounts, Employee Assistance Programs.
