ITCON Services has a requirement for a Sr. Proposal Technical Manager in the Tysons Corner - Vienna, VA area , who is looking for a new and exciting challenge in a fast-growing small business. Responsibilities Craft compelling technical proposal narratives that synthesize both existing content and new inputs from SMEs, in alignment with strategic proposal objectives Own technical proposal content development for distinct sections, from ideation to final review Independently gather, organize, and synthesize information from diverse stakeholders, including those from sales, engineering, solutions architecture, and other organizations Contribute to proposal overall solutioning and strategy development sessions, asking clarifying questions to proactively guide content development Translate complex technical solutions, strategies, and win themes into easily understandable, readable, and compelling content Engage with technical SMEs to extract pertinent information, conducting internal interviews as necessary to gather content for government responses Participate in color team reviews, working autonomously to gather and refine content for senior-level evaluations Track industry IT trends, company successes, and proactively plan for new content Experience and Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in technical proposal writing and editing, with a focus on content creation, RFI responses, and white papers within the Federal Market space Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical SMEs to gather and synthesize complex IT information Strong working knowledge of the proposal development process using Shipley methodology, including technical volume narratives, price volumes, and past performance documentation Proven ability to understand complex technical concepts and convert them into persuasive proposal narrative Ability to think critically and draw from several resources to create simple, unified, and persuasive documents Impeccable attention-to-detail with the ability to review and edit proposal content for compliance, clarity, and proper use of terminology Understand the basics of generative AI and how it can be used for proposal writing, content creation, and tone adjustment Self-motivated, and able to work independently, as well as part of a team Experience with knowledge management practices, including the upkeep and organization of documentation for future use Demonstrable mastery of the English written language including spelling, composition, and grammar Strong proofreading and editing skills Must have Advanced Microsoft Word skills and have extensive experience with all other Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint), as well as Adobe Acrobat Professional Demonstrated ability to multitask with numerous high-priority demands in an intense, deadline-driven environment Marketing experience in the technology industry is a plus Understanding of federal domain is a must Other details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Other Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ITCON Services. #J-18808-Ljbffr
