We’re proud to say that we’re the key to enterprise resilience for more than 11,000 enterprise organizations that use our Unified Security and Observability Platform to keep their systems secure and reliable. We’re also especially proud of our award‑winning culture and our regular appearance on those “Best Places to Work” lists.

If you end up joining us, we’ll only ask you one thing: bring your whole, authentic self, what we call your million data points. Bring your work experience, problem solving skills, talent, joy, passion and all the things that make you, you. Because when you feel free to be you, it makes it easier for us to be us.

Opportunity

As a Director of User Experience Design, you and your team will be directly responsible for shaping the experience of Splunk’s products across the broader ecosystem. Your work ensures our products deliver insightful, cohesive, and increasingly effortless experiences that scale across jobs, personas, and product lines.

You will be part of the Product Experience (PX) organization, reporting to a Senior Director of User Experience. Our mission is to make user experience a true differentiator for Splunk—one that drives customer trust, adoption, and long‑term value in a rapidly evolving and competitive market.

In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional partners across Product Management, Engineering, Research, and other design disciplines to define and communicate a clear design strategy aligned with business goals. You will balance deep UX craft with systems‑level thinking, helping ensure that core product attributes—such as consistency, usability, scalability, and clarity—are experienced seamlessly across the Splunk portfolio.

As we have recently joined Cisco, you will also be key in helping us find opportunities for integrations that bring even more value to customers.

You will draw on real‑world experience in change management and culture building to support and mentor a dynamic team as Splunk continues to evolve as part of Cisco. Identifying opportunities for shared value, alignment and better ways of working will be critical to strengthening our practice and maximizing impact for both customers and employees.
