The Legal Writer will draft correspondence and memoranda relevant to the firm’s immigration practice, collaborate with attorneys, and meet government deadlines. Essential Functions Research law, investigate facts, and prepare documents to assist attorneys with immigration matters. Translate facts into understandable, persuasive content for officers adjudicating immigration matters. Work closely with immigration attorneys on special writing projects. Write skillfully and independently, and collaborate with reviewing attorneys to ensure accuracy of information. Requirements Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program. 4+ years of paralegal experience in a business immigration practice. Excellent research, writing, and drafting of affidavits and briefs. Excellent proofreading, editing, reading comprehension, and time‑management skills. Benefits Profit sharing.
