Overview
PeopleSoft Financials Institutional Consolidation Consultant Role Summary: The consultant will play a key role in the financial systems consolidation, providing both technical and functional expertise. This position requires strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials v9.2 and hands-on experience managing data conversions, integrations, and end-to-end testing within higher education environments. Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate monthly financial consolidation meetings; prepare and present financial data to institutional end users. Develop, read, and optimize complex SQL queries; collaborate with development teams to implement updates and validate data pre- and post-conversion. Identify and address areas requiring transactional data cleanup prior to conversion. Conduct comprehensive System and QA testing to ensure data integrity and process accuracy. Prepare and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions for institutional end users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HCM, Banner, Shared Services Center) to ensure successful integration across systems. Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills:
Strong functional and technical background in PeopleSoft Financials v9.2, including: Asset Management (includes asset conversion activities) Purchasing (includes PO conversion activities) Commitment Control Requisitions, Accounts Payable and Travel & Expenses (no conversion required; data cleanup for Institution B only) Creation and maintenance of data crosswalks (Departments, Projects, Accounts, Locations, Ship To’s, etc.)
Proven experience with financial data analysis, reconciliation, and system conversions. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet project deadlines in a collaborative environment.
