Licensed Beautician (Independent Contractor)
NHC Tullahoma is seeking a licensed beautician to provide salon services to our residents in a professional, supportive setting. This role is an independent contractor position ideal for someone passionate about serving others while working independently.
What We Provide
All salon supplies (permanent and disposable)
Clean linens (laundered by NHC)
Janitorial services for the salon
Equipment: 3 hair dryers, 1 pump chair, 1 roll tray
Schedule
Monday–Friday, between 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Shop hours: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Private patrons may be scheduled after patient needs are met
Compensation
Prices set by NHC based on local rates
Payment processed weekly upon submission of records
Patients pay the receptionist after services
Remuneration details discussed during interview
Requirements
Valid TN Cosmetology License (posted and on file)
Professional liability insurance (self-provided)
Self-employed status; not eligible for NHC employee benefits
Must comply with all federal and state regulations
