The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store(s). Responsibilities include: Identifying incidents of theft and fraud Reviewing CCTV and exception reports Monitoring physical security Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance Driving a shrink elimination culture Preparing detailed case reports Preserving evidence Interacting with law enforcement and testifying in court Reporting hazardous conditions Minimizing injury risks and demonstrating integrity The specialist must focus on store-specific objectives while supporting asset protection and operational responsibilities.
