Grappino is looking for a Line Cook who enjoys working as part of a team. The Line Cook will prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, presentation and garnishing standards. To be a successful Line Cook, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations. Line Cook Responsibilities
Responsible for quality, quantity, consistency and timeliness of food preparation. Follow established recipe guidelines; ensuring the presentation, portion and use of garnishes are properly utilized. Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and standards by memory. Follow and adhere to proper food handling procedures for food storage, rotation, spoilage, sanitation and prevention of cross-contamination. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation. Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed. Dishwasher Requirements
Line Cook experience. Strong problem solving and communication skills. Exceptional time management. Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift. Lift at least 50 lbs. Comply with all food and safety regulations. Benefits
