To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Painting Sales Representative with a strong background in selling industrial and commercial-grade painting services. This role is ideal for a driven, self-motivated individual with a proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and managing client relationships in the commercial/industrial contracting space. Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new business opportunities in industrial and commercial sectors. Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate job scope and client needs. Prepare detailed project estimates, proposals, and presentations. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, general contractors, facility managers, and property owners. Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate bids and seamless project handoffs. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Track all sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically in industrial or commercial painting, coatings, or construction services. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals. Strong knowledge of paint systems, surface prep methods, and coatings applications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications is a plus. Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with facility maintenance departments, commercial real estate firms, or general contractors. Familiarity with industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane, etc.) and safety standards (OSHA, SSPC). Proficiency with estimating software and CRM tools. Benefits
