A privately owned commercial real estate firm is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support its Southeast portfolio. The company manages a diverse mix of commercial assets and is focused on delivering high-quality property operations and tenant service.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant relations at both the property and corporate levels; manage and respond to property-related inquiries.
Deliver exceptional tenant service by addressing requests and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring follow-up and resolution.
Supervise maintenance personnel, as applicable, and support daily operations.
Assist with preparation of annual operating budgets.
Process rental payments, apply late fees, record collections, and prepare bank deposits.
Review, code, and approve property invoices; ensure accuracy and timely accounts payable processing.
Investigate and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies.
Verify and maintain required vendor documentation, ensuring compliance and proper filing.
Conduct and document monthly property inspections.
Oversee and monitor the maintenance work‑order system.
Draft correspondence related to property operations and tenant matters.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of commercial real estate property management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and the full Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
