F.A. Wilhelm Construction . We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Construction Superintendent. If so, we want to talk to you! Responsibilities
As a Construction Superintendent, partner with the Project Manager and project team to complete the project on time, under budget, and with quality that exceeds expectations. Personnel: determine field personnel needs and assign work; supervise, coordinate, and schedule activities of field personnel and subcontractors; plan and coordinate all phases of the project with Project and Operations Managers; inspect, approve, and report all labor time. Safety: monitor jobsite safety, address safety deficiencies, conduct weekly toolbox talks and maintain related reports; investigate and report any accident or incident to Risk Management, Corporate Safety Director, and Project Manager; ensure compliance with OSHA regulations including safety, health, and welfare. Jobsite: train field personnel in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies; create and maintain cost/labor reports, maintain field P.O.s and rental logs; ensure all equipment, vehicles, and machinery are properly maintained with repairs/replacements as needed; routinely inspect the construction site and work progress to meet contract specifications and company quality and safety standards. Qualifications
10 years of field construction experience Minimum of 5 years' experience in a superintendent role Knowledgeable of construction methods OSHA 30 certification preferred What It Takes
