A globalconsumer‑brands company that has grown over 3,000% in the last 2 years seeks aMarket Manager to be the educator/sales consultant driving distribution forboth on and off premise accounts, as well as some regional chainresponsibilities in the San Diego area.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales and distribution planswithin the market to drive case and revenue growth, category share, andvelocity .

Enhance knowledge of local marketconditions at distributor/trade levels while growing relationships withinall trade channels of assigned territory and effectively communicatemarket conditions, roadblocks, and opportunities.

Maintain an intricate knowledge of the history and philosophy, as well as vision and core values for our quality drivenspirit.

Consistently drive sales in top key high-profileaccounts in territory.

Identify, contact, and sell to targeted On and Off premiseaccounts independently and alongside distributor personnel.

Utilize VIP analysis and key relationshipsin the market to manage price and integrity of our portfolio

Timely track, record, and follow up onsales interactions to close accounts.

Build trust and loyalty with distributors,accounts, and colleagues.

Consumer/trade tastings and events asnecessary.

Conduct weekly or monthly distributor salesmeetings and training sessions, product presentations, train, develop, andmotivate distributor personnel to ensure proper execution of marketingstrategies and success of the brand.

Conductweekly reviews of company intranet updates and appropriate team calendarsto ensure awareness of company events and activations.

A minimum of 80% of time in the fieldselling, 10% territory analysis, 5% weekly key account call prep, and 5%weekly/monthly administrative tasks.

Execute monthly Sales Goals as directed.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements Specific Skill Requirements

4-5 years of industry sales experience required with a spirits supplier.

Knowledge of general spirits industryproducts/production.

Articulate and impactful in group presentations andmeetings. Bring passion along with experience in developing andimplementing luxury brand building strategies into daily performance.

Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.

Strategicthinking to contribute to long-term business plans.

Provenleadership ability, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Strong project management andprioritization skills to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Ability and willingness to workand travel on nights and weekends.

Ability to lift 50lbs, perform repetitive lifting,bending, pulling, and pushing.

Live within prescribed territory with proximity tomajor selling markets.

A valid driver's license with aclean driving record and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor'sdegree in business, marketing, management, or a similar field preferred.

4+years of management or related experience.
