Overview The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for retaining and growing a loyal, profitable SMB client base and prospecting non‑KM users. The role involves a regular cadence of outreach to refresh current services and to introduce and sell additional Konica Minolta offerings. The ISR manages client expectations, satisfaction, and relationships, acting as the primary liaison between Konica Minolta and the assigned client & prospect base throughout the full sales cycle—from initial introductory calls, web meetings, discovery, assessments, solution development, proposal to continuous follow‑up and potential service termination.

Responsibilities

Conduct outbound communications including phone calls, emails, social media, and web meetings to set and conduct calls and assessments.

Manage end‑to‑end small business sales in collaboration with local market support teams.

Develop and present proposals tailored to each client’s specific business needs.

Identify and establish relationships with key decision makers to secure new business and strengthen partnerships with current clients.

Manage activities related to client retention, including ongoing communication.

Consistently close sales and meet monthly activity and revenue goals.

Generate revenue from the full service portfolio, including extended services and offerings.

Accurately forecast accounts and develop pipeline.

Lead generation for Managed Services and IT offerings, including IT procurement.

Conduct periodic Technology Business Planning review sessions and assess each client’s technology roadmap.

Manage Accounts Receivable escalations to ensure timely payment of invoices.

Coordinate with the Market team and the AM’s direct manager to leverage resources as needed.

Assist with documentation related to all phases of the client engagement.

Identify and propose additional projects.

Track all leads, activities and meetings in the CRM system.

Qualifications Minimum

BA or BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

High level of energy and commitment to sales goals in a dynamic environment.

Tenacity and desire to grow career and achieve success within KMBS.

Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple priorities.

Rapid learning of new concepts, applications, and technologies.

Flexibility to handle changing priorities and complete tasks quickly.

Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.

Strong business development, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to explain complex technical information to non‑technical audiences.

Commitment to sales and customer service with good initiative and follow‑through.

Preferred

College degree preferred.
