Vice President, Research and Sales Enablement
Corbin Advisors is a strategic investor relations (IR) and investor communications advisory firm that was founded on the idea that insights-driven advice is a powerful catalyst for unlocking value. Base Pay Range $200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Core Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable business development execution of identifying and targeting prospective public company clients
Translate research and valuation outputs into actionable sales and marketing strategies: identify target companies, craft pitch / investment themes, and support company-facing pitches
Conduct due diligence and valuation analyses for prospective pitches, while ensuring valuation and analysis underpin all client and prospect engagements
Collaborate with business development, marketing, finance, and client-facing advisors to ensure seamless alignment
Provide executive‑level reporting and insight: present to senior leadership and advisors on market conditions, valuation trends, and capital markets opportunities and risks
Drive go‑to‑market strategy for thought leadership: identify target segments, recommend strategic positioning, partner with marketing and sales to execute
Mentor and develop research and analytics teams, build the team’s capabilities in both technical/quantitative areas (valuation, modelling) and commercial/business development areas (client engagement, sales strategy)
Monitor industry developments, regulatory shifts, and investor sentiment from our investor interviews; incorporate these into client and prospect engagements
As necessary, engage with external clients: present research/insights and support relationships
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, economics or related studies required
7-10+ years of relevant experience; capital markets, investor relations and/or buy/sell‑side experience preferred
Proven analytical skills; ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
Passion for capital markets and stock market; strong financial and valuation skills
Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive and execution discipline; highly motivated self‑starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
Ability to build executive‑ready presentations and thought leadership with insights and recommendations
Strong problem‑solving skills and sound judgment in decision‑making
Ability to prioritize requests, establish workflow procedures, multi‑task, meet tight deadlines and deliver on assigned objectives
Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Friendly, high‑energy, team‑focused, and can‑do attitude a must
