Position Summary We are seeking an energetic and motivated
Inside Sales Representative
to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and learning about industrial products. You’ll be responsible for assisting customers with product inquiries and processing orders via phone, email, and counter sales, ensuring excellent service and accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and order status.
Process sales orders, quotations, and purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Provide product recommendations and technical assistance for fasteners, tools, and related hardware.
Maintain a working knowledge of inventory, lead times, and vendor capabilities.
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Handle customer complaints, returns, and warranty issues professionally.
Stay current on product lines, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience (industrial distribution or fastener industry preferred).
Knowledge of fasteners, hardware, or construction materials a strong plus.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. l Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, NetSuite).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
