Responsibilities
Lead and manage all sales activities within the Government sector, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with public sector requirements.
Provide expert guidance, coaching, and support to internal stakeholders involved in government sales initiatives.
Collaborate with the VP of Sales to resolve issues related to product availability, contract compliance, and equipment performance.
Develop and maintain short‑ and long‑term sales forecasts for the Government sector, leveraging planning skills and deep product knowledge.
Evaluate performance metrics across government accounts, provide actionable feedback, and support continuous improvement efforts.
Deliver ongoing education and updates to ensure teams remain informed on evolving government programs and procurement policies.
Prepare detailed sales reports including volume, margins, and competitive analysis specific to the Government sector.
Communicate established goals, quotas, and strategic priorities across the organization to ensure coordinated execution.
Represent the company at government‑focused trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and build relationships.
Plan and lead strategic meetings focused on Government sector sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.
