Job Fair Announcement The hotel will be hosting a Job Fair on Friday, December 12th, from noon to 6 PM. We will be on location at Westin Tampa Bay to meet candidates in person.
We’re Looking for a Bar Lead The Bar Lead helps guide the bar program with confidence, warmth and a commitment to casually elevated hospitality. This role supports the restaurant manager with ordering and training, oversees bar operations during service, ensures cocktails are crafted with consistency, and works to create a vibrant, social atmosphere.
Your Role
Lead bar shifts and support bartenders in delivering high‑quality, approachable beverage service.
Ensure cocktails, wine and beer are executed consistently to Palmette standards.
Maintain bar organization, cleanliness and readiness before, during and after service.
Oversee inventory, prep and ordering needs in partnership with the beverage manager.
Contribute to training and development of the bar team, reinforcing service standards and product knowledge.
Support a lively, convivial bar atmosphere through positive leadership and strong presence.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as a bartender or bar lead in an elevated casual, high‑volume or brasserie‑style concept.
Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine and bar operations.
A naturally warm, confident communicator who leads by example.
Ability to balance efficiency with hospitality – staying composed, friendly and engaged throughout service.
Attention to detail, strong organizational habits and commitment to consistency.
Current bartender certification or appropriate license.
Knowledgeable in the latest mixology trends.
A descriptive, persuasive communicator.
2–4 years of bartender experience.
Comfortable working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
A passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
Excellent communication skills.
