About Lawn Club Lawn Club is an exciting competitive socializing destination in the Seaport, positioning itself as “New York’s Leisure Headquarters.” The massive 25,000 square foot venue features indoor and outdoor rentable gaming lawns, amazing cocktails, and a streamlined menu of tasty bites. Each rentable lawn includes popular lawn games, big-screen TVs, courtside F&B service, and dedicated “Lawncierges.” Lawn Club caters to a variety of audiences, from twenty-somethings to corporate event planners.
About The Role The Event Sales team is responsible for driving sales and profitability by delivering a best-in-class client experience from initial inquiry stage through post-even follow-up. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Events, this role plays an integral role in positioning Lawn Club NYC as a premier, guest focused destination for extraordinary experiences. The role calls for a proven sales professional with expertise in client relationship management, understanding of outbound sales strategy, budget planning, and cross departmental collaboration. With responsibilities spanning both inside and outside sales, as well as a close partnership with operations, the Event Sales Manager must bring energy, adaptability, and a strategic mindset to align client needs with organizational goals.
THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE | ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive event sales through proactive prospecting, outreach, and relationship building with new and existing clients.
Serve as the primary client contact, developing strong relationships while ensuring expectations are met and satisfaction is achieved.
Manage sales and planning from initial inquiry to post event, supporting flawless event execution aligned with brand standards.
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, tailored proposals, and detailed quotes for a diverse range of clientele and requests.
Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track sales, and maintain accurate client communication records and event details.
Conduct site visits, surveys, and client meetings for prospective and confirmed events, including agencies and contractors.
Communicate client needs and expectations clearly to Operations, including providing accurate and timely BEOs.
Coordinate logistics and production with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
Develop production schedules and manage internal/external resources in support of client events.
Track event schedules, deliverables, budgets, and expenses to ensure efficiency and accountability.
Build and maintain a preferred vendor network, ensuring up-to-date contacts and valid insurance documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all applicable regulations.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop creative solutions for client challenges and enhance the sales process.
Foster a positive, engaging, and fun work environment while protecting the company’s reputation.
Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the business; perform other duties as assigned.
ABOUT YOU! | KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
5+ years event sales related experience, preferably within a hotel, entertainment, or competitive socializing environment.
Entrepreneurial mentality - Must be a self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills.
Must have high volume sales and event experience including managing events from 12 to 1500+ guests, corporate, SMERF, media, and high touch clientele.
Knowledge of local area business and existing client base, with a track record of building lasting client relationships.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Financial acumen, including experience in reviewing budgets, costs, and pricing analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, phone, and electronic).
Keen listener with exceptional attention to detail.
Effective teamwork and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and large-scale projects simultaneously.
Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency in Tripleseat or other CRM platforms.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demands, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and climb steps regularly.
Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
Compensation: $65k – 75k a year plus commission
