The Role We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead SkySafe’s growth in the commercial sector. In this role, you’ll focus on acquiring and expanding relationships with large B2B enterprises, particularly those operating in critical infrastructure environments such as energy, utilities, transportation, data centers, ports, and logistics hubs.

As a key member of the sales team, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through close—and work cross‑functionally with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Product to deliver value and close complex deals.

We are only considering candidates from the following locations: Southeast - (FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, TN, NC, SC)

Responsibilities

Own a regional commercial territory and build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities

Develop new business within large enterprise accounts and expand existing customer relationships

Navigate complex buying processes across security, operations, legal, and executive stakeholders

Deliver compelling, consultative sales presentations tailored to industry‑specific pain points

Partner with Solutions Engineers to scope customer needs and develop tailored solution proposals

Work closely with Marketing to drive field events, targeted campaigns, and account‑based outreach

Maintain accurate forecasting and deal hygiene in Salesforce

Represent SkySafe at relevant commercial and critical infrastructure industry events

Consistently meet or exceed quota and contribute to revenue growth in your territory

Qualifications

5–10 years of enterprise B2B sales experience, ideally in a startup or high‑growth environment

Proven track record selling into commercial critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., utilities, energy, telecom, logistics, manufacturing, transportation)

Experience navigating long sales cycles with complex stakeholder dynamics

Deep understanding of physical security, risk management, or situational awareness solutions a plus

Strong executive presence and ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences

Self‑starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and sales platforms such as Outreach or Gong

Bonus Points

Experience selling emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, security platforms, RF detection)

Prior experience working with or selling to commercial security, facilities, or risk management teams

Passion for innovation, aviation, and/or public safety

Within 1 Month, You Will

Complete onboarding to understand SkySafe’s mission, technology, and product portfolio

Learn about SkySafe’s culture of value‑based selling, the commercial market strategy, key customer segments

Begin familiarizing yourself with tools, processes, and internal collaboration workflows

Build an effective territory plan and approach to building your pipeline

Within 3 Months, You Will

Build a qualified sales pipeline within your assigned region

Deliver your first customer presentations and proposals in collaboration with Solutions Engineering

Begin developing key relationships with target accounts and industry partners

Contribute feedback to Marketing and Product based on customer insights

Within 6 Months, You Will

Close your first deals and contribute measurable revenue

Establish a repeatable sales process tailored to your region

Represent SkySafe at regional commercial and critical infrastructure events

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to shape customer‑focused offerings

Within 12 Months, You Will

Consistently meet or exceed sales targets in your territory

Own strategic customer accounts and drive long‑term partnerships

Play a key role in refining SkySafe’s commercial go‑to‑market strategy

Mentor newer team members and contribute to sales process improvements

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is just one part of our total compensation package that includes equity, perks & benefits, and development opportunities at SkySafe. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other SkySafers.

Compensation Range $150,000–$300,000 USD
