(Start Date 6/1/26) This position is responsible for the overall leadership of Housing and Residence Life at Toccoa Falls College. The successful candidate should have expertise in the areas of housing, student development, best practices in residence life, discipleship, and mentoring. The candidate must be able to work with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and community members and be able to assist students with the integration of faith, living, learning, and service.

Tasks

Supervise and lead a team of three full-time Resident Directors and indirectly supervise student Resident Assistants.

Plan and implement RA training and overall staff development.

Provide oversight and management of 18 residence halls/buildings that house up to 600 students.

Supervise placement of students in the residence halls.

Administration of housing policies, off-campus requests, and meal plans.

Oversee programming for residential students.

Serve as the chief conduct officer and oversee the student conduct process while maintaining accurate records pertaining to student conduct.

Respond to student emergencies and campus crisis situations.

Assist Vice President of Affairs with tracking student data and other Student Affairs initiatives.

Serve on-call on a needed basis (mostly during parts of the summer).

Work with departments across campus to ensure a meaningful on-campus living experience for students.

Collaborate with Student Affairs Office Administrative Assistant.

Assess practices, initiatives, and activities through formal and informal means.

Oversee and manage departmental budget.

Other duties as assigned.

Proficiency in

Microsoft and other computer software programs

strong customer service skills

written and spoken communication skills

Experience & Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

At minimum, four years working as a Resident Director or other Student Affairs position.

Physical Requirements Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds, repeated stooping and standing for short periods of time.
