Job Overview As an Apartments.com Sales Associate you will operate as a strategic digital marketing partner to the multifamily industry. Through engaging sales presentations and in‑person client visits you will advise and sell marketing solutions that enable our clients to achieve their goals, while prospecting new business and growing existing accounts.
Responsibilities
Business development—prospect new opportunities, identify upsell and renewal opportunities using market data, and build new business.
Relationship management—build and maintain trusted advisory relationships with owners and property managers.
Industry acumen—develop subject‑matter expertise in digital advertising, multifamily real estate and market trends within your territory.
Teamwork—collaborate with internal teams to drive revenue and deliver exceptional client service.
Customer focus— provide outstanding support through regular communication, market insights and tailored solutions.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of outside B2B sales experience in digital marketing, advertising, or the multifamily industry.
Proven record of exceeding sales targets in a consultative environment.
Current valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Strong analytical ability to build reporting, analyze market data and make strategic recommendations.
Flexible, self‑starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience managing the entire customer life cycle and pipeline.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Evidence of strong academic performance.
Continuous access to a reliable motor vehicle.
