Job Description:
PDQ is looking for a Content Strategist to lead the direction and coordination of our content program across the buying journey. This role focuses on strategy, planning, and cross-team delivery, ensuring content is effective across channels and formats.
You’ll collaborate across departments, including Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and the Media team and partner closely with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop authoritative, educational content that is discoverable in AI-driven and LLM-based search experiences. This role may include team leadership responsibilities as the content function grows.
What you\'ll be doing Develop and lead a unified, multi-channel content strategy aligned with brand, marketing, and business goals
Ideate, plan, and measure cross-team content initiatives, including campaigns, serialized assets, webinars, video, and other multimedia
Maintain a forward-looking editorial calendar to support coordination and consistent delivery
Synthesize inputs from across Marketing and the company into a cohesive content roadmap based on trends and business needs
Partner closely with SMEs to shape credible thought leadership and technical content
Develop and steward 2–4 major content-driven campaigns each year
Optimize content for SEO, AEO, and LLM-based discovery
Ideate, write, and/or edit content as needed, including ghostwriting for leaders and SMEs
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of content professionals
Support roles related to content, SEO, and content operations, as applicable
Establish content standards, workflows, and governance
Act as a strategic point of alignment across teams
We\'re looking for people who have: Must have
5+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or editorial roles
Proven ability to project-manage complex, cross-functional content programs
Strong strategic thinking paired with practical execution skills
Experience working closely with SMEs and complex subject matter
Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and emerging AEO / AI search considerations
Clear communicator who can influence without owning all execution
Experience in B2B SaaS or technical products
Familiarity with webinar, video, or multimedia content programs
Nice to have
Background in IT, systems administration, or other technical roles
