We are partnered with a global design practice looking to appoint a Design Leader to help elevate the creative direction of its New York studio. You'll drive concept design, storytelling, and early visioning across a diverse mix of workplace and lifestyle projects, working alongside an established leadership team known for award-winning design excellence. The right person will bring strong creative instincts, confident presentation skills, and the ability to mentor mid-level and senior designers within a fast-paced, collaborative studio.
What you'll do
- Lead concept design, narrative development, and client-facing presentations
Shape compelling design stories and visual material for pursuits and project kick-offs
Partner with strategists, architects, and delivery teams to maintain design intent throughout the project lifecycle
Strengthen studio design culture and mentor designers across levels
Represent the New York studio with confidence in front of clients and industry collaborators
What we're looking for
- 8-18 years of experience in Interior Design (workplace and hospitality-influenced work ideal)
Strong conceptual portfolio demonstrating clear thinking and refined visual storytelling
Confident communicator - able to present ideas with clarity and presence
Proven ability to lead design direction and elevate overall design quality
Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within an integrated, global platform
