Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our team as an Order Picker in San Antonio, Texas! We need dedicated individuals to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanning equipment. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You'll be working in a fast-paced Logistics environment where attention to detail and a proactive approach are key. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, requiring the use of appropriate PPE for all tasks. This position involves considerable walking, standing, and regular Lifting of items. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
• Use RF scanners and pick lists to locate and verify products.
• Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
• Ensure all picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking procedures.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE .
• Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
• Contribute to the smooth flow of warehouse Logistics .
• Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret order documents.
• Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
• Physical stamina for walking, standing, and bending throughout the shift.
• Capability for frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
• Adherence to workplace Safety standards and use of PPE .
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic Logistics procedures.
