You will oversee all aspects of our news operation while fostering a collaborative and innovative newsroom culture. What you’ll do Oversee daily news operations and manage a team of reporters, producers, and anchors Lead the newsroom in producing fast-paced, engaging, and accurate news content across all platforms (broadcast, digital, social, and mobile) Hire, train, mentor, and motivate a diverse group of journalists, fostering teamwork and positive morale Ensure editorial excellence and uphold high journalistic standards and ethics Develop and implement innovative strategies for 24/7 news coverage Collaborate with station management and other department heads to achieve organizational goals Manage newsroom budgets and resources efficiently Engage with the community and represent the station at local events Drive the integration of digital, social media, and mobile platforms into the news operation What you’ll bring At least five years of experience producing news content in a fast-paced environment Minimum two years of television news management experience (or equivalent leadership experience) Strong journalistic background and excellent news judgment Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and motivate a diverse team Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making skills Experience managing budgets and resources We are committed to recruiting, hiring, and promoting qualified women and minorities.
