AIA Triangle is hiring: Architectural Designer in Raleigh

West Workshop is a small architecture and design studio specializing in the hospitality, custom residential and adaptive reuse sectors with offices in Washington, DC, Raleigh, NC and Ft. Wayne, IN. This position is for a remote employee. Ideally you are based in NC. We have a need to fill a full‑time position for a Project Designer with 5‑8 years of professional experience. The position offers opportunities to collaborate directly with the firm’s owner and with clients on a variety of project types and is suited to those who are able to work independently on multiple projects. Desired qualities, skills and qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Construction. Residential experience is a plus Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or higher Fluent in English Have experience putting together a set of construction documents, in Revit, from concept through completion. We assume you know Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and you’ll be open to expanding your skillset with those programs. Ability to research materials, products, and building systems throughout the design and construction phases. Ability to independently prioritize and manage tasks. Strong communication and coordination skills. You will be required to talk with collaborators, clients and consultants on a weekly basis. Have an authorization to work in the United States.
