Responsibilities Prepare tool, gauge, and process enhancement designs using Pro/ENGINEER software
Perform calculations to determine exact dimensions, correlating specifications and engineering data
Make drawings for both production and vendors
Interface with continuous improvement, engineering, process engineering, and manufacturing departments daily
Interface with vendors for procurement of purchased items
Location Sidney, NY – 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY; 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY
Salary $45,000 – $70,000 per annum
Required Qualifications Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or related field/experience
Experience in a machine shop, tool design/application position, or related area preferred
Experience with Project Management preferred
Working knowledge of Pro/ENGINEER software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple requests and projects concurrently
Working with and on the manufacturing floor frequently
Some travel to tooling vendors or Nogales possible (minimal, 10%)
