The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing and communications plan for the project. This employee will work closely with leasing, management, the partners, outlying communities, media, and other posts to ensure proper marketing and public relations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement annual marketing plans that will successfully increase occupancy and traffic for the project, executing all branding, collateral, and content to achieve targeted goals.
Develop and track performance metrics and analyses to measure the effectiveness of marketing techniques and leasing incentives/concessions.
Create outreach marketing material (brochures, flyers, signs, advertisements, etc.) to implement a branded look for the project.
Conduct monthly market comparison reports to compare the company’s performance and competitiveness.
Serve as spokesperson for the project, promoting a positive relations image to the U.S. Military and outlying communities.
Create partnerships with local businesses and organizations to strengthen the relationship between the project and the community.
Prepare and present presentations on behalf of the project to update progress.
Attend conferences and seminars for networking opportunities and exposure to outlying companies.
Design and publish monthly newsletters and event flyers for all individuals connected to the housing project, as well as to Army personnel.
Manage the company website and all social media marketing.
Maintain the marketing budget.
Coordinate and plan all internal and external monthly events.
Manage all event administration, including structure, communication, catering, decoration, and staffing for all resident and employee functions and events.
Qualifications
1+ years of Marketing Experience, preferably in Property Management.
Knowledge and understanding of marketing culture and dynamics.
Significant experience working with customers, media, partners and other critical audiences.
Strong understanding of Public Relations principles, practices and processes.
Must be able to pass background investigation and drug test screening.
Required Education / Training
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
Must successfully complete all required courses, classes, and training provided by MMS.
Required Skills and Abilities
Able to work as part of a team and independently.
Self‑motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment at all levels of an organization.
Perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Ability to read and write legibly to complete required marketing and leasing reports, and analyses.
Available for minimal travel for conferences and outreach opportunities.
Prioritizes and manages daily workload to ensure successful completion.
Able to take instructions from supervisors and exercise problem‑solving skills.
Interacts with co‑workers, supervisors, vendors, residents, guests, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Programs, including Publisher, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Working Conditions
40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends if required for resident and community events.
Work indoors and outdoors, often for extended periods.
Eligible to drive a company vehicle for resident events and outreach marketing efforts.
Salary Range Information
The range displayed on each job posting reflects the targeted base salary for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
