Director – Regional Center Services
Base pay range: $128,167 – $153,800 per year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all Social Work activities including Lanterman Services and the Self-Determination Program.
- Serve on the Management Advisory Committee, contributing to agency-wide strategy and operations.
- Coordinate with Executive Director, Department Directors, and key staff on case management for individuals served by the regional center who are 3 years old and older.
- Inform organizational restructuring decisions based on growth and evolving needs.
- Assess, review, and approve funding requests, ensuring alignment with GGRC policies and Purchase of Service Guidelines.
- Model and teach Person Centered Thinking, Planning, and Action.
- Lead efforts to implement and streamline responses to changes in statutes, regulations, and best practices.
- Oversee on‑call coverage for the Regional Center Services.
- Interview, hire, train, supervise staff and provide performance feedback.
- Manage workflow and ensure individual and departmental goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
- Represent the agency in community committees, facilitate trainings, and attend GGRC public meetings.
- Maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and the California Lanterman Act.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work or related human services field.
- 10+ years post‑graduate work with the developmentally disabled.
- 5+ years in supervision at a social service agency providing case management services.
- 3+ years’ experience working in a Regional Center.
Skills
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Proficient with office technology and data systems.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through complex organizational change.
- Knowledge of budgeting, statutes, regulations, and DDS directives.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and systems‑thinking skills.
- Experience preparing statistical and narrative reports.
