Job Details This role is pivotal in driving enrollment growth by engaging prospective families, promoting our school’s unique programs, and ensuring a seamless admissions process. The ideal candidate is passionate about Early Childhood Education, has exceptional communication skills, and thrives in a fast‑paced, family‑focused environment. The position is based in Columbia, MD and requires regular on‑site presence at our schools. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for events and tours.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person visits.
Build meaningful connections by understanding each family’s educational goals, values, and needs.
Conduct engaging and informative school tours, highlighting the benefits of the curriculum, facilities, and programs.
Guide families through the enrollment process, from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Follow up with prospective families to nurture relationships and address questions or concerns.
Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure timely and accurate completion of enrollment paperwork.
Partner with Marketing to proactively follow up with potential leads to drive enrollment growth.
Develop and maintain a database of prospective families using CRM software.
Meet or exceed enrollment targets by implementing effective sales strategies.
Plan and execute open houses, informational sessions, and other community events to attract prospective families.
Represent the school at local community events and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness.
Partner with the Marketing team to align messaging and campaigns that support enrollment goals.
Work closely with school leadership and staff to ensure seamless communication regarding new student transitions.
Provide feedback to the team on common questions or concerns from families to improve messaging and processes.
Stay informed about trends in early childhood education, local competitors, and market demand.
Prepare regular reports on enrollment trends, lead conversion rates, and outreach effectiveness.
Other duties or job functions may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience: Proven experience in sales, admissions, or customer service, preferably in education, childcare, or a related industry.
Experience: Familiarity with early education programs and child development is a plus.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Compensation Starting salary range $73,000 - $83,000 per year, depending on background and experience.
