Position Overview We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Social Media to lead the development and execution of our social media strategy across all channels. This role blends creative storytelling with data‑driven decision‑making, team leadership, and a deep understanding of how to build a passionate, loyal community online. You’ll oversee our social media presence, manage a small but growing team, collaborate cross‑functionally with content, brand, influencer, and performance marketing teams, and ensure that content delivers on brand objectives.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across social platforms.
Align social content with broader marketing, product, and campaign goals.
Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to keep the brand fresh and relevant.
Content & Community
Lead the social content calendar and oversee the creation of high‑performing, on‑brand content that resonates with our audiences.
Partner with creative teams, agencies, and internal stakeholders to conceive, produce, and optimise content.
Manage community engagement and social listening—ensuring the brand’s tone and personality shine through every interaction.
Identify opportunities for UGC (user‑generated content) and influencer collaborations.
Performance & Optimisation
Define KPIs, track performance, and translate insights into actionable strategies to continuously improve reach, engagement, and ROI.
Work with analytics and performance marketing teams to test, learn, and optimise social campaigns.
Report regularly on social performance, key learnings, and competitive insights.
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of social media professionals.
Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Influencer, and Paid teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience across channels.
Advocate for innovation and help define what “best‑in‑class” social looks like for Good Ranchers.
What You Bring
7+ years of experience in social media marketing, with prior people management.
Proven success building and executing social media strategies for a consumer brand (DTC experience preferred).
Deep understanding of platform algorithms, analytics tools, and content best practices.
Strong creative instincts—you know how to make content feel on‑brand and engaging.
Analytical mindset and comfort in translating data into actionable insights.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
