Target Salary Range $60,000 – $70,000+, based on experience.

Schedule This is a first shift position – Monday to Friday.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Design and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures, including written programs, record‑keeping, reports, inspections, monitoring, testing, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations.

Deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels.

Conduct and document regular EHS audits and inspections.

Coordinate visits from internal and external regulatory authorities and file annual local, state, and federal environmental reports.

Assist site safety committee with inspections and identify, determine, and implement corrective and preventative measures.

Manage workers’ compensation cases and EHS programs, including cost control/reduction and accident prevention, safety behavior audit, and risk assessment programs.

Assist with proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

Establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHS performance by evaluating existing programs, identifying areas for enhancement, and coordinating development of an EHS improvement strategic plan.

Analyze safety history, manufacturing processes, product machinery, and chemical exposures to identify trends and develop safety strategies.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.

Relevant certifications required or preferred: Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Associate or Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

3–6 years of experience in a related EHS role in a manufacturing environment.

Subject matter expertise in Tier II reporting, SPCC, air regulations, stormwater management, spill planning, hazardous/special wastes, universal waste, machine guarding, LOTO, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook.

Maintains strict confidentiality and protects sensitive information.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, including interaction with leadership, staff, and external parties.

Proactive problem‑solver with sound judgment and strong decision‑making abilities.

Confident, self‑motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
