What You’ll Do As a
Claims Representative
at the Introductory, Intermediate or Senior level, you’ll handle complex liability claims. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough investigations to assess damage and determine liability.
Evaluating coverage, collecting evidence, and preparing detailed documentation.
Negotiating settlements with claimants, policyholders, attorneys, and other involved parties.
Managing reserves and making settlement decisions within assigned authority.
Coordinating with vendors, engineers, legal counsel, and recovery specialists.
Supporting subrogation efforts and responding to storm and catastrophe events.
Providing exceptional customer service and serving as a resource for junior adjusters.

Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficiency with claims systems and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Requirements to Succeed Introductory Level
3+ years of complex multi-line or discipline-specific claims experience.
Completion of AIC Core Courses, or 4+ years of experience as a substitute.
6+ years of complex claims experience.
Completion of full AIC designation, or 8+ years of experience as a substitute.
Additional Requirements
Valid Missouri Driver's License.
Willingness to travel for field investigations and catastrophe response.
Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor and hazardous sites.
