We are seeking entrepreneurial dermatology sales professionals who want to help accelerate this growth and build something that will outlast all of us. About the Role
The Dermatology Sales Specialist will develop and lead Phothera’s commercial presence in the Detroit territory. This role is field-focused, with four days per week meeting with dermatologists and clinical teams. You will open new accounts, strengthen existing prescriber relationships, deliver clinical education, and drive adoption of Phothera’s at-home phototherapy device. This is a launch environment with significant autonomy and meaningful runway for long‑term growth. Key Responsibilities
Build and grow the Detroit dermatology territory Identify and open new prescriber accounts Support and expand adoption within existing dermatology practices Deliver clinical education and product demonstrations Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Salesforce Attend dermatology conferences, trainings, and internal meetings Collaborate with leadership on market strategy and execution What Success Looks Like
Rapid mastery of clinical and product training Early credibility and consistent engagement with dermatology offices Strong pipeline development and territory activity Progress toward script-based volume goals Organized, proactive, and high‑ownership execution Required Qualifications
Dermatology sales experience required (aesthetics, devices, biologics, skincare, or medical dermatology) Proven record of new business development Experience in launch, startup, or fast‑paced environments Understanding of dermatology workflows and decision makers Ability to travel extensively throughout the Detroit region Preferred Qualifications
Device and biologic/reimbursement selling experience Territory launches or first‑to‑market experience Strong clinical communication skills Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience Top performers can exceed $200,000+ annually Mileage reimbursement or rental car program Full benefits through Madison Medical/Madison Industries Remote role with extensive field activity Apply Today
