Overview
At Pure Barre we believe in building a studio community that empowers and inspires the lifestyle and fitness goals of our members. Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness with more than 500 franchise locations in the United States and Canada. We are expanding our team and looking for a qualified Sales Representative focused on driving sales and service excellence to expand our Pure Barre community.
Position The purpose of the Sales Representative is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building relationships, providing a positive experience, and successfully moving them through the sales process to a membership sale. The Sales Representative also assists with retaining current members and providing unmatched customer service. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
Execute the sales process of lead generation, follow‑up, and closing
Conduct facility tours while establishing relationships and targeting individual goals and needs
Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production
Emphasize and enforce club fitness and wellness objectives
Present available services to current or prospective members
Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community, and hospital events) to promote the club
Develop selling skills and take ownership of performance
Process accurate cash and credit‑card transactions
Follow up and complete activities with prospective clients
Input inventory for retail clothing and other items
Attend and complete all relevant training programs
Take photographs for social media platforms
Perform light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality
Ability to build strong customer relationships
Goal‑oriented with the ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training
Self‑motivated and takes initiative
Proficient with the ClubReady software system
Excellent communication via in‑person, phone, and email
Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient computer skills
Authorization to work in the United States required
