A day in the life As a Field Sales Training Manager at Monster Energy, you'll ignite the potential of our territory business leaders! Dive into a role where you enhance selling skills, product knowledge, and account management through dynamic training and coaching. You'll be the catalyst for boosting sales performance and business success. Engage with bottlers in exciting ways and empower future leaders with fun and impactful trade activities and workshops. The impact you'll make
Perform 50 or more days per year field coaching sessions (ride along) across the assigned region to work with individual territory business leaders on their developmental needs.
Ensure that all new hires have completed all onboarding training prior to attending in‑person to bottler meetings. Work with sales leadership and other cross‑functional departments when onboarding new hires by completing the phases of new hire training.
Demonstrate a high level of collaboration with leadership including sales, marketing teams, sales operations, human resources, and others to ensure efficient onboarding processes are in place and increase the speed to competency.
Identify training gaps across the sales force then collaborates with the rest of the Sales Training and Development team to seek out resources to address identified gaps and/or to develop approved training interventions. Conduct field rides to coach and further develop learners’ skill sets.
Work to ensure overall bottler sales team effectiveness by implementing trainings and creating sales tools.
Attend distributor and wholesaler sales meetings monthly/quarterly as needed.
Provide training to distributor and wholesaler sales teams as required on product knowledge, sale methodologies, look of success, and current promotion schedule.
Support implementation of selling and coaching material for TDMs, sales network terns‑advice, and consult markets on market specific implementation plans.
Identify field training needs and communicate those needs to Sales Training Development team. Seek resources available through Sales Training and Development to either devise new programs or to access existing programs to address needs, with approval.
Support sales management team by providing training materials, workshops, and/or facilitation support at national and regional meetings.
Who you are
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‑‑ Business or related field.
Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in sales and/or commercial capacity
Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in a management role
Computer Skills Desired: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Certifications: N/A
Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Experience with Power BI. Advanced skills in Spanish and English preferred
