Manager or Senior Manager, Strategic Corporate Tax At KPMG you will join a dynamic team in one of the world’s top tax firms, working with high‑profile clients to analyze and respond to complex business opportunities and challenges. Responsibilities

Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and operating partnerships, serving clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses.

Collaborate with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax provision calculations.

Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, providing industry knowledge; manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.

Oversee a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, acting as the primary point of contact, building and managing client relationships, and delivering high‑quality tax service and advice.

Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.

Participate in and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager

Collaborate with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the KPMG tax practice.

Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM is required, or you must obtain one of these designations within one year of hire.

Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and strong knowledge of ASC 740 and tax provisions or operating partnerships.

Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information.

Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager

Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm; experience mentoring and counseling staff/senior level team members.
