Our client, a leader in the fabrication and heavy manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced
Senior Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager
to oversee safety and environmental programs across their operations. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive HSE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations, and fostering a strong culture of safety ownership. Responsibilities
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. Oversee OSHA/EPA compliance, safety audits, and regulatory inspections. Manage environmental programs including hazardous waste, air emissions, stormwater, and spill prevention. Provide hands-on safety coaching to supervisors and shop personnel. Conduct risk assessments, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and safety training. Coordinate safety meetings, audits, and equipment inspections. Qualifications
8–10+ years of progressive HSE experience, including 5+ years in fabrication or heavy manufacturing. In-depth knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 standards and EPA regulations. Experience managing safety programs in welding, cutting, grinding, painting, and heavy equipment environments. Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field preferred. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Benefits
